Process & Development
Through semi-traditional relief woodcut printmaking methods, each individual’s animal image was drawn onto and then carved into pine wood plates. Once carving the animal is complete, the plates are then run through a printing press to create cute and esoteric works of art. Areas of research for every friend/animal include a deep dive into their birthdate using western astrology and insights into the spiritual components of animal folklore.
